Is it free to add my site?

Filing a card is free. It has always been free and will remain free. There is no premium tier, no featured placement option, and no account required to submit. Fill in the URL, pick the right collection, and submit — the catalog creates the record immediately.

How are sites organized?

By subject collection. Folio42 has 22 collections, from the Restricted Reserve to the Wayfarers Holdings. Each site is assigned to one collection at the time of submission. The Open Stacks is the largest collection and holds entries that do not fit neatly under any specialist heading.

How do I submit a site?

Use the form at /add.php. Provide the URL, select the appropriate subject collection, and submit. The catalog fetches the title and description from your site automatically and creates a catalog card without delay.

How quickly will my site appear in the catalog?

Your card appears the moment the form is submitted, typically within seconds. Folio42 inserts the record immediately on receipt; there is no waiting queue for basic listings.

What kinds of sites can I file?

Most legitimate web properties are welcome. Folio42 maintains 22 subject collections covering a broad range of topics: automotive, health, legal, travel, software, and many more. If your site fits one of the collections, it is welcome in the catalog.

Does Folio42 endorse the sites it catalogs?

No. A catalog card is a pointer, not an endorsement. Folio42 records that a site exists and provides a link to it; it does not evaluate, recommend, or vouch for any listed property. Use your own judgment when following links from the catalog.

Can I update or remove my listing?
